I am a high track bowler and was looking for a ball that would go long and snap back hard. Well I got it in this ball, WOW!!!! I had bowled the prior week to getting this ball in the City Tournament and the carry down ate my lunch so I searched for a ball with a strong hook rating and found the C System Alpha. After asking around and a little research I found it was a very strong ball and should provide length with a strong backend. Out of the box I drilled the ball with the PIN centered between the fingers (I am a bowling coach not a pro shop). My first throw 36' house pattern, Stood about 24 threw at the 10pin to get feel of ball and as soon as the ball hit the dry it almost over snapped the pocket. The City tournament did not stand a chance with this ball, out the gate a 657 series. I have now bowled 21 games and averaging a 216 with this ball.
I will admit this ball is not for everybody. You have to control your speed and you should understand lane break down. This ball is one of the best I have found but if you cant manage the prior two things this ball can be a little to much.
