I drilled 2 of these the same with my favorite pattern 5"x 65 x 35. I kept one oob and took the other to 4000 and polished. Oob you will need some oil for this ball. Starts up midlane and continues smooth but very hard. The polished WB surprised me in that it still had the same motion as the dull ball...It started before the end of the pattern and was very smooth off the oil. I did take the polished ball back to 2000 and repolished it....Again, the same motion with more hook than at 4000...I think that this will be the easiest ball I've ever had to adjust the surface and be very predictable an a wide variety of conditions...Some balls that are smoothed out and polished (especially asymetric cores)will have a skid-flip reaction.Thank you so much Columbia for a great piece of equipment.
