For those of you who have seen my reviews before, I decided to use a slightly different layout for this Theory. We used a 50 x 4 x 35 layout with a weight hole on my PAP. This kept the pin up and allowed us to clear the front of the lane very easy while still using the box surface. The Theory picks up a great midlane roll after traveling easily through the heads. Its transition to the backend is predictable and very strong. Although not a snappy reaction this ball produces a very strong angle back to the pocket and maintains its hitting power through the pins. Comparing to the Mutant Cell Solid it is slightly earlier rolling in the midlane, and allows me to move my line 3 to 4 boards inside while still maintaining a great entry angle into the pins. Incredible RotoGrip Hitting Power. Also, the Theory coverstock takes very well to surface change. Making this ball shiny allows you to move your feet further right but will not produce an over under reaction. It still maintains great predictability at the breakpoint and awesome hitting power. Great job yet again RotoGrip.
