About the Bowler
Bowling Hand    Right Handed
League Average    231
Sport Shot Average    212
Ball Speed    Medium

The first time I threw the Dark Star was on lanes that were freshly trashed from a senior league that had just finished. Lanes were dry from 12 to 7, slick outside 7, and from 12 in were spotty. My other medium balls looked like drunks going down the lane the way they swerved and staggered. The Dark Star - well - rolled down the lanes like it was on a fresh house shot. The Dark Star - no violent reaction off the dry, no warbbling after the break point, strong in the oil, I was in control again.

On fresh oil the Dark Star is a little stronger than a curve and a touch more angular. If you need to replace a control ball this would be a nice pick especially since it will make you look like a star when you start getting into the trashy conditions that sometimes develop in league or tournaments.
