DV8 Hitman is a great name for this DV8. Drilled 65 x 3.5 x 60 no surface change. I had a smooth roll in the front with control in the backend. This layout works for me so I can control the move in the backend. I like the roll in the oil it just reads the midlane and gave me all the room I needed to strike. If you have any questions about the Hitman e-mail or call the shop. Thank You for reading my review !!!!

Incredible Ball Motion and Incredible Hitting Power!

My name is Bryan L. Williams and I am a PBA Member and DV8 Pro Staffer

The DV8 Hitman is simply AWESOME! Similar to the DV8 Creed, the Hitman is one of the most versatile balls in the DV8 Line. This asymmetrical core ball can be thrown from multiple angles, but is better on oily-medium lane conditions. For your average league bowler, you will find that the Hitman will give you more backend than the Creed and works very well on any house shot. For the tournament and competitive bowlers, this ball work very well when you need more angle and hitting power off the spot.
The Hitman’s ball motion can be classified as very smooth and provides you that angular movement when needed down the lane. The layout for this ball is pin up and my CG at my midline of my span and its motion its ball motion is simply incredible. I highly recommend this ball as a great reader ball for any lane condition during league or competitive play.

The DV8 Hitman….If you are not throwing DV8, you’re just not bowling! #brunswickbowling, #dv8bowling, #radicalbowling technologies.

This is truly the MOST versatile, the MOST angular, and the MOST continuation bowling ball to date that DV8 has produced in a performance line of bowling balls. I am very impressed and speechless of the performance and aggressiveness this ball produces in league and sport competitions and conditions. This is the ball you want to have and keep for a great amount of your season(s). I personally recommend you get one and make it your front runner in your bag. I personally have also been able to use it on lighter oil conditions as well as in oily conditions, but all factors will depend on your favorite layout and if any surface adjustments are necessary. However, this ball is VERY versatile and that is what makes this arsenal perfect! Check out my ball reaction videos -- one for house conditions, and another for sport conditions.

This ball will increase your carry % which means more strikes for you! Plain and simple, no fancy words needed. This ball is STRONG!

Drilled this ball pin down (between fingers) p3 hole box finish

First night at league I shot 257 268 299 for a monster 824 set.

The ball is very forgiving with miss room on both sides due to the strength of the ball.

We bowl on a sensitive house shot as the lanes are above a restaurant, we face very quick breakdown of the patterns. I was able to use this ball the entire block only moving 3 or four boards left.

The colors of the ball make it easy to read the roll and easily see when the ball goes through the skid, hook, and roll phases.

Layout: 5 1/2 inches off of the axis point. No extra hole

surface: Box finish

Tested on a 38 foot house pattern

This ball is very unique and very strong! As the ball comes off of the oil pattern it responds quickly and hooks! One thing that I like about this ball is the way it hits the pins, its strong and continues to keep driving through the pins even after it has made contact with the pins.
The Hitman is a ball that I will use when the pattern gets broken down a little bit and I am forced to move in towards the middle part of the lane because this ball gives me the confidence that it will recover and get back to the pocket.
Also, the color scheme on this ball is pretty cool! You definitely won't miss this one going down the lane!

The DV8 Hitman is a terrific option for an aggressive angular ball. It goes through the pins beautifully and is a great option for opening up the lane on house patterns. Also I will use it on a medium to heavy sport pattern when the lanes transition and the more even equipment begins to burn up or I lose carry.

I have it drilled pin over ring finger and with it in my hand I have confidence the ball will recover downlane, and not jump too much when it sees the dry. Expect this ball to be more aggressive than the Creed, they complement each other very well.

I absolutely recommend this ball to just about any style of bowler, especially if you are in need of an angular shape on medium to heavy oil volumes.

I’m hard to impress on most occasions. It’s my burden to bear. So when I tell you about the impressive performance of the DV8 Hitman, you can take my words to the bank, put them in your savings account, and collect interest on them.

Speaking of interest, you should know that this is the first piece out of my bag on medium to high volume patterns. But Larry, won’t this ball sputter out in heavy oil? No. Heck no. Bring it on!

I’ve tested this on a 45 foot, medium volume house pattern with striking results. Multiple entendre. The most impressive feature to me is how clean it is through the front of the lane, all the while maintaining the aggressive and predictable down lane motion that DV8 has become synonymous with.

If you’re looking to kill the pins, don’t look any further than the DV8 Hitman.

WOW! The DV8 Hitman is by far one of the best balls on the market. Clean smooth reaction in the fronts with devastating back-end reaction. The ball picks up off the spot strong and continuous. Rolls great for me on the fresh, this ball will be the first one out of your bag whether its on your league night or a tournament.

Perfect compliment to the DV8 Pitbull Growl, a 1,2 combination that will have you striking all day/night.

The Hitman features a new cover and a new core that gives this ball the biggest motion in the back part of the lane that DV8's ever produced. Let me tell you this ball isn't afraid of oil for a it being a pearl cover. I put my favorite drilling on it and it doesn't disappoint. The cover responds really well to surfaces adjustments. It's you feel it's to clean in the front sand the cover with a light 2000 grit to make it pick up and still have that big change of direction off the end of the pattern. Comparing the Creed to the Hitman I have the Creed being 4-2 weaker overall. They complement each other very well. The Hitman got alot of play at the WSOB IX and the U.S Open by the Brunswick/DV8 Staffers
