Definitely a must have bowling ball. Will work really good in pair with Edge Solid, since it is a bit stronger for me. Very smooth and predictable motion. I really like it's coverstock. Will be good for medium or long pattern.

This ball is one of the smoothest arcing balls I have seen in the Brunswick line. The Magnitude 035 uses the Relativity Flip Solid coverstock with the new Magnitude Low Diff symmetrical core. This ball fills a definite spot

Here’s what I saw. This ball is super clean through the front and the midlane and makes a nice arc on the backend. I have had chance to throw this ball on a house shot as well as Kegel’s Beaten Path. I never felt like this ball was going to over-react. It was very controlled and I think that is something everyone needs in their arsenal. This ball is going to become my new benchmark ball.

What I like about the video is how you can see the “control” and the smooth arc in its motion. I’m not someone who likes sharp angles downlane so this ball is a really nice addition to my arsenal.

The Magnitude 035 is available August 15, 2017.

Rev Rate: 440
High track player that is rev dominate.

Broken down THS:
This ball was thrown on broken down house shot at box surface. This thing pairs nicely with inferno, but with more overall hook and more forgivability with misses both right and left. It is truly a ball that will be a great get out of trouble ball that you know what it will do! This thing really amazed me with the front being toasty and a lot of carry down.

Fresh house shot:

This ball I was able to play tighter line straight up as well as feeding the ball to the right and slow hooking the lane. I could keep getting it right and would not over react to friction. This ball gave me great continuation through the pins where others were struggling with over under reactions. Make your competition feel the power of your Magnitude !!

About the Bowler

The magnitude is one of Brunswicks newest lines.  I would say that this is a great benchmark ball to figure out what the lane is telling you.  This is by far the smoothest reacting ball that Brunswick has to date. People are comparing this to  an iq tour or a v2 solid of old.  I drilled this ball with one of my stable control drilling with the pin under my bridge with out an extra hole.  Very controllable smooth reaction for medium to longer patterns.  Very versitale as you can close your angles or open them up depending on what the lane is telling you.  Would recommend this ball for fresh conditions and also for tougher patterns.

There are so many good things to be said about this ball. A low differential release from Brunswick coupled with a fairly aggressive coverstock makes for a terrific benchmark ball for tough fresh and sport patterns and for me, helps to reduce over/under reaction on house shots.

Mine is drilled 60 X 3 3/4 X 45 and rolls so predictably and powerfully that I can't wait to test it out on every pattern I come across. It's also very responsive to surface changes when needed. A real winner from Brunswick.

COMMENTS

Likes: Smooth predictable reaction, forgiveness, super versatility

Dislikes: none

The Magnitude 035 is the ball I have been waiting on for quite some time. It has a lower differential weight block that allows it to clear the heads and retain energy combined with a cover that will read the pattern well. This ball makes the average house shot look quite easy. It allows me to move right and take advantage of the hold provided by the volume in the middle of the pattern. I can finally play the lanes the way the guys with all the speed and the tilt do without having to pile on the ball speed. This ball creates extra room all over the lane. If you have enough friction and you have a semi consistent release it is quite hard to miss the pocket with this ball. I also noticed extra room right with the Magnitude 035. In situations where other balls would just burn up and stop this ball would keep coming. I felt like I had gone back in time 15 years as far as lane transition was concerned. The Magnitude 035 allowed me to make minimal adjustments while making both lanes on the pair seem almost identical. I almost never see the lane this way in the current environment. The forgiving qualities of this ball are going to come into play very often. It should get quite a bit of use on the tougher patterns for this very reason. The Magnitude 035 should be a great choice for tournament player and league bowlers alike. Consistent versatility that makes the lane look easy that is the Magnitude 035.

BRUNSWICK MAGNITUDE 035 REVIEW

I drilled the Magnitude 035 to be my "go to" ball for lane conditions that are less than ideal, especially sport or challenge patterns where your miss room is negated to a degree, and you need a ball that will help give you extra boards to play with. The Magnitude 035 does just that. With the pin down layout, I am able to control the back end exceptionally well, as the ball picks up the middle part of the lane and rolls very smooth and continuous through the pins. On a THS, it is not the first ball out of my bag, rather when the lanes break down it is there to help with transition when other balls become over/under and sensitive to the the wet/dry conditions. On sport shots, this ball shines. I have used it on WTBA Paris, WTBA Athens, and the 2011 USBC Masters pattern, all with tremendous results when compared to other balls on the same pattern. I find that the Magnitude gives me 1-1.5 extra boards of miss room inside AND outside of my target, which certainly comes into play anytime you bowl on challenging lane conditions. If you are a tournament bowler, you HAVE to have this ball in your bag at all times. You are literally throwing pins away if you don't. Plus, even if you're a one day a week bowler, you can use the Magnitude 035 to blend out league conditions which can vary week in and week out. Magnitude 035

I drilled my Magnitude 035 with a pin below drilling; 50 x 4.25 x 60. I wanted the layout to match the natural characteristics of the ball. First off; if you love strong, predictable, and powerful ball motion; the Magnitude 035 is for you. The is easily a benchmark ball for a league bowler! If you are tournament player, and you bowl on tough sport conditions the predictability of this ball will allow you to dominate when the conditions get tough. The low differential of this ball allows you to play straighter with a strong, smooth ball motion. I was really impressed with the hitting power of this ball and consistent motion in the mid-lane. I absolutely love this ball! Feel free to contact me by email with any questions; troy_300_1999@yahoo.com.

Wow where do I start with this ball, Brunswick summer line is right on the money this year. My layout for the Magnitude 035 is 60x4x70 with the pin right under the ring finger. This ball is the most predictable ball I drill yet, clean through the fronts and smooth in the back, what more could you ask for. It will be a great benchmark ball for all styles of bowlers. I extremely recommend this ball for anyone who is looking to strike a lot. Believe me you will be thanking me once you purchase this ball. It will be available 8/15/17 !!!🎳🎳🎳 #TeamBrunswick #TeamDV8 #TeamRadical #bowlwithbruns #dveightbowling #radicalbowling #dv8bowling #bowlwithbrunswick #sabasproshop #lovethelanes #brunswick #dv8 #radical #alwaysbowling #bowlinggofinsta #bowl4life #bowlingvids

New line, new core wrapped around a proven cover gives you what I think has a very high chance of being the bowling ball of the year. Magnitude 035 is the real deal. A smooth reaction with a lot of control makes this ball a MUST have in your bag. My balls drilled pin down with a 4.5 inch pin from PAP. I've thrown this on long patterns, medium patterns, short patterns and house shots. this thing is meant for all of them. The cover takes surface adjustments really well while still having its great carry. There is not another ball like it. Do yourself a favor and pick one up and see the difference for yourself.

He is a new serie in the Brunswick brand, the Magnitude serie. The first one is the Magnitude 035. The number comes from the differential of the core which is 0.035. The core is wrapped up with the Relativity Flip Solid coverstock. This ball is designed for medium to oily lane condition. Because of the low differential of the ball, this ball is designed for tournament players and rev dominant player.

Because I wanted to have a really smooth and controllable ball to play on harder or shorter patern, I drilled this ball really strong. I’ve put a 50x 3 3/8”x40 layout. The ball rolls exactly like I anticipated. The ball starts to roll really soon and make a really predictable an controllable turn to the pocket. Compared to the DV8 Pitbull Growl, I play the 035 three boards right with my feet and two with my eyes. Compared to the Inferno Blue Flame, I play the ball in the same area but the difference is in the shape. The 035 rolls sooner and is more controllable on the back end. Compared to the Inferno, I play the 035 two boards right with my feet and one board right with my eyes.

For people with more speed or wanting to play on heavier patern, the ball can be sanded to 1000 or even 500 grit and the ball will still rolls strong and it the pocket. For people with less speed or wanting to play on lighter patern, the ball can be polished to avoid it to roll too soon in the heads and burning up.

To conclude, if you are a rev dominant or a tournament bowler, the 035 is for you.

If your looking for something that wont snap hook in friction or give you an over/under reaction look no farther. With the Diff of the core of .035 and the cover combo staying in the pocket is this balls purpose. Whether its league or a tournament sport shot you can depend on the Magnitude to always give you a chance to be on top. I drilled mine 50x4x50 pin in ring finger with about 5 inches of flare and still had no over reaction to friction.

Brunswick Magnitude: Layout- 2 inch to PAP. Wow I am impressed with this ball, everything about it screams benchmark reaction. This is my number ball on just about every condition because it provides me with a controlled, arching and continuous ball reaction which is ideal when you’re trying to get an idea of how the pattern is playing. On the house pattern, I can throw this ball to the dry and don’t have to worry about it coming off the pattern too hard. This ball will be ideal for all types of bowler looking for an ideal first ball out of the box reaction. Easily the best ball I’ve thrown in years. Justin Knowles, Brunswick Regional Staff

I didn't know what to expect with this ball when it was announced, but I've been pleasantly surprised after throwing this ball in league and on sport shots in tournaments! This ball is so smooth of the spot and allows you to control the mid-lane which allows you to control the pocket. I highly recommend this ball to EVERYONE, it's a needed piece in everyone's bag.

We used to drill a lot of IQ Tour Solids in our shop and this ball would be Brunswick's Tour ball that allows you to bowl on everything and have a "look"!

Hands down out the park release from Brunswick. If you ever had an IQ tour, this ball will remind you of that and then some! Keeps pins low to the deck with one of the best arcing motions i have seen yet! Awesome piece for shorter to medium length patterns!

This ball will be great for most high rev players with the low differential it makes sport shot really playable and keeping the shot infront of you. Can be a great house condition ball if layout isn't to aggressive.

Of all the summer releases, this is the one I was most excited for. Brunswick has not had a ball like this in their arsenal in a long time. If you are a serious tournament bowler, you need THIS ball in your bag. If you are looking for big time hook and a ball that makes a U-turn on the backend then look elsewhere. If you want a ball that keeps you in the pocket on the tough tournament conditions, you’ve found it with the Magnitude 035. The way this ball smooths out a pattern is unlike anything I’ve seen. It will blend out the wet/dry patterns like no other. Throw the ball to the dry and it does not over react, it just arcs back to the pocket. Keep the ball in the oil and the coverstock is strong enough to dig in and drive through the pins. Like I said the overall reaction of this ball is not going to wow you, but then again if you like striking a lot on broken down and tougher patterns, then it just might.
