Radical The Fix well the fix is in this ball hooks. Great ball for heavy oil smooth through the front. Love the drive through the pocket very easy to change the surface to get more length if you need for a drier shot.

Layout:::: Symmetric Layout B
Box Surface Box
Rev Rate ::: 300 - 325
Ball speed:::: 15.5 - 16 mph
Condition:::::40 ft. House shot
Box Surface Box Adjusted to 3000

I decided to finally drill up a radical Fix. I used the Symmetric B Layout for mine as I wanted good hook with some control on the back part of the lanes. What I saw with this layout was a ball that was real strong on THS and burned up it's energy . So I adjusted the out of box finish to 3000 and it then gave me the look and read I was looking for. What the surface at 3000 did was give the look where the ball rolled extremely well in the fronts and then read the mid lane rather strong but still gave me control of the pocket in the back part of the lane.
After the pattern transitions I can bump left and get it out to the right and still have the strong mid lane read and control of the pocket on the backend. It's great for when the oil carries down. What I was impressed with was after the surface adjustment the ball never burned up on THS.
I highly recommen the Fix to put in your arsenal. It is so versatile you could drill up all the different layouts and have a arsenal for every condiditon .

Drilled the FIX with one of the more aggressive Asymmetrical layouts, so I could use it inside to get around the burn fronts in the center I bowl out of and it was just what I expected. But what surprised me was the versatility of the ball, I bowled on a 35' sport pattern and was not even going to bring the ball to the tournament...very glad I did, ball got through the front with ease and read the friction perfectly with strong continuation through the pins. May get a couple more for the USBC Open.

Radical Fix

Well bowlers. I have been hearing a lot about this ball. It has a Core called shapeshifter. Which is a core that if drilled pin up it is asymmetrical core. If it is drilled pin down it is a symmetrical core. Well I had to drill up two of them. A pin up and pin down. I can say I'm impressed. I choose layout C for asymmetrical and layout B for symmetrical. The symmetrical layout works great on my house shot league. I choose layout C for opening up the lanes on my sport shot league. I will say Radical bowling Technologies did a great job on designing this ball.

I also chose to put Asymmetric B layout on my Fix. The Fix with this drilling was a great choice for me! It is an extremely versatile ball, with the ability to drill asymmetrically or symmetrically. I am able to get the benefits of both dual core options!

This ball will react better on Medium to Heavy Oil lane conditions providing a strong midlane with good down lane motion.

The Fix is in….
I have two of these with the Radical recommended layouts of Asym layout A and Sym layout D
Throwing these two ball I seen exactly what I wanted to. Both got down lane with easy, with the pin down picking up sooner. The pin down layout gives me about 3-4 more overall hook then the pin up layout. The motion I see is spot on! These two drilling/layout will complement each other very well. Radical continues to push the envelope to help the one night a week bowler or a tournament bowler get what they may need. I would recommend talking with your pro shop operator and have them work with you about what shot you bowl on, what style of bowler you are and which Radical Layout would help you the most. This ball is going to change the game for a lot of bowlers! Stay Radical my friends!

“The biggest innovation in bowling ball design in 2 decades” - Mo Pinel

I will admit I was skeptical, all be it excited, with the announcement of the Radical Fix. With my high ball speed, I should prefer asymmetric equipment, but I have always preferred the shape of symmetrics even though I don’t quite score as well. Then along came the Fix.

I choose to put Asymmetric B layout in my Fix. I wanted a decent amount of hook, but I also wanted to be able to control that hook. The Fix is the ball for me! It is an Asymmetric ball, disguised as a Symmetric ball! I get the controllable continuation that I love to see out of a Symmetric, with the response a need from an Asymmetric. It is great on Medium - Heavy Oil lane conditions providing a strong midlane with a strong move on the backend.

The versatility of the Fix is where the ball really shines! At the Brunswick Demo day I threw 2 Fixes side by side. One had Asymmetric A layout, the other had Symmetric A layout, the surface on both balls was the same. I got lined up with the Symmetric version, and then changed to the Asymmetric version. My first shot hit the 2 pin. I then needed to move 10 left with my feet and 6 left with my eyes to get lined up. It was THAT different!

The Fix is the ball for everyone! It is so versatile with layout options you can tweak it to be the right ball for anyone. From the high rev cranker to the low rev stoker. High speed, slow speed, the Fix is the right ball for you!

Drilled my Fix 40x5x40, again one of my favorite drillings. This ball is sometimes the first out of my bag for typical league house shots as it has continuous angular power through the heads and continues right through the pins. This ball compensates my DV8 Grudge Pearl very well as it doesn't have as much skid flip through the heads and has a much stronger roll in the back end of the lane. One of the best balls out their for Angular hook to the pocket. With the "shapeshifter" core, bowlers can drill this balls many ways, pin up or pin down with asymmetrical or symmetrical type drillings. One of the more aggressive covers in my mind for radical which can also makes this ball very versatile on numerous lane conditions. This is the most versatile ball on the market. There is one ball every generation that is a must for everyone and this is it! You can literally fill your arsenal with just this ball if you want. The recommended drills are amazingly accurate for shaping the roll you want. I have since drilled two other balls like Asym C since it was so good. I may do the Asym B since my friend said it is so good and watching it I agree!

About the Bowler

Radical Bowling The Fix ( Asm A & Sym E)
Speed: 16 mph
Rev Rate: 450 rev
Axis Tilt : 12deg
Track: Medium Track player
Condition: 27 mil Modified House Shot 42 ft

Asm A: my feet are on 25 board approach and I am targeting 15 board at the arrows. These ball drives through the pins with great power, and I have three boards of miss room to the right and still recovers with no issues.

Asm E: My feet are at 20 board on approach and I am targeting 15 - 13 board at arrows and ball rolls right in to the pocket. The thing with Sym E layout is you need to have the rev rate to get this ball to move on the back. This ball for me I don't have to change my release or speed I am able to make move right and crush the pocket with out over reacting I am able to stay in the track longer than my competitors, then I can switch back to Asm A later in block and just bank off of my break point I created with my Sym E ball. I don't have to think about what changes I need to make as Radical Bowling Technology has made it is for me with The FIX

I drilled up a Asm A and a Sym E and I can tell you that there is 7 more boards hook down lane. I have to make a 5 and 2 move with my feet when I switch to either of these balls. This ball out of box was a little to strong for me, so I hit them with 400 pad on the spinner to give ball a little bit of shine with out using polish. These bowling balls are truly amazing and make it super easy to adjust to transition and stay in the pocket. I plan on drilling up a ASM D layout to compliment my Asm A ball. Do your self a favor get this ball and thank me later you will run over your competition with this ball. Read Less

The shapeshifter core allows for so many drilling possibilities which in turns creates so many different ways to attack the lanes. I have drilled up two..yes I said two Radical Fix balls: First one has the following layout; 70 x 3 3/8x 75 and the second one is drilled; pin up motion hole. The shapeshifter core allows me to play the same part of the lane without moving a board...just switch balls. The stronger layout gets me through the oil for the first game but when the carry down comes into play I switch to the pin up motion hole and keep on striking. You want something versatile, you need a Fix!!!

I drilled my Fix with the asymmetrical C layout and I love it. For such a strong solid cover ball I get easy length down lane with the OOB surface and a strong movement on the backend. I was surprised at how well this ball recovered off the dry, I’ve even been able to throw it on beat down patterns and it still keeps on trucking, never seen this ball lose energy early. Nice hitting power behind it too.

About the Bowler

Berry innovative idea I will say that. Great concept, but for me out of the box finish with the pin down drilling. It h does hook, but it also hits like a 15lb solar energy house ball. Berry disappointed so far. My next step is to mess with the surface. Then the step after that is to give it to my wife or to throw it in the local lake were several other balls reside.

Loved the ridiculous and primo, guru supreme is ok, red asym is strictly only used on wood, but this fix is so far in the words of the rock is a roody poo candy ass

About the Bowler

I have two of these, one up and one down. The pin up definitely will give you more length. I had to polish each of them to give me some room to work with but they still hit the pins with a bunch of energy. Others I have seen like the box finish. I have seen multiple drillings and multiple styles with this ball and results are similar...it's a great choice. Very versatile.
