Radical Jackpot Solid great ball for heavy oil. Radical has a great line in balls that will work on heavy oil. The Jackpot is a first game ball with heavy roll in the front.

Radical Jackpot

The Radical Solid Jackpot is a great addition to the Radical line. This ball picks up in the mids and continues on the back end. I have used it on my house shoot pattern. And compared to the first Jackpot it picks up in the mids stronger than first Jackpot. And hooks more than the first one. It hooks about 5 more boards. I think it's a great addition to the other Jackpot. With my two Jackpots I have a great one two punch. The original Jackpot I can can play the pattern straighter and the Solid when I need to get deeper. Great job Radical Bowling Technologies!

About the Bowler

I'd you have trouble with over\under reaction on a house shot this ball is your answer. With this core and cover combo I have yet to see any over reaction to friction even on old wood. The solid cover takes adjustments easy and will take a polish as well. With a pin down drilling I was ablessed to still create plenty of angle and good carry.

One of my favorite balls over the last year was the original Jackpot, so I was extremely excited with the announcement of the Jackpot Solid. The Jackpot solid uses the same Jackpot core, with a beefed up solid cover.

The layout I choose for my Jackpot Solid is a 60x4x35, which I had on an old DV8 Marauder Madness that I loved. This layout gives me decent length with a controllable backend motion.

That is exactly what the Jackpot Solid gives me. It allows me to keep my angles square in front of me without overreacting early. It is strong enough to handle Medium to Medium Heavy volumes of oil. When I need to keep the ball in front of me and control the pocket this is the perfect ball to go to.

Overall the Jackpot Solid is much smoother than the original Jackpot. It can handle a similar amount of oil and a touch more. It is much slower response to friction than the original, but about 3 feet earlier ultimately covering the same amount of boards.

For anyone that thought the original Jackpot was a little too sensitive this ball will be perfect. It will also be a great ball for anyone wanting to get a little more hook out of their ball but not break the bank.
