Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane has what I need for that dry lane. The roll is easy to read great ball motion very easy through the front and control in the backend. Great ball for slow ball speeds also.

Purple Pearl Urethane
Rev - Medium
Layout: 60 x 3 1/2 x 60

I didn't do anything fancy with this layout. I just wanted something smooth and controlled to add to my bag. This ball is the definition of control, but you are definitely going to get more bang for your buck than you are expecting. This is the best urethane I have ever thrown and I have always like urethane equipment. When I Blue Hammer just doesn't have enough energy at the end of the lane, but I don't want to lose my overall shot, I can pick this ball up and know that when it hits the pocket, the pins are going to get knocked around. This is a must have in anyone's bag that bowls on sport shots or in centers that have light to medium oil house shots.

Not your typical urethane! This ball gives me the hit of technology with the control of urethane. Definitely a little more back end than your normal urethane ball. I love it because I can play the track longer, and I can blend out black/white conditions with ease. Should be a MUST have for every serious tournament bowler.

After finally drilling the Hammer Black Urethane, I absolutely could not wait to get my hands on this…and it didn’t disappoint.
The Black Urethane was great to start out blocks on shorter/tough patterns, but I would run into pairs that it was reading just a little too much in the front part of the lane. This Purple Pearl Urethane was the perfect solution to that.
I was blown away after throwing my first few shots with it. It still hooks pretty early like a urethane should, but it didn’t try to burn up in the first 15-20 feet. The pearl cover gave it the extra pop that I needed. Overall, I would say that it is just a small move inside compared to the Black Hammer because it does have a small motion down the lane.

Finally drilled my Purple Hammer and I really like it. I drilled it just like my Black Hammer and it does exactly what I thought it would. It doesn't read the fronts as hard and is a little more angular through the pins.
