The Path Rising...Entry Level Pricing With High Performance

Pin to PAP(5 1/8" over 1/8" up) - 4 1/4"
Relation Weight Layout - 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"
Balance Hole - n/a

Surface Preparation - Out of Box (1500 grit Abralon/Factory Polish)

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
The Path Rising series offers a entry level performance ball with high performance attributes.

This ball incorporates the same cover found in the Path Origin series with an all new New Era 139 symmetric core. This ball should provide a much cleaner look through the fronts with a strong yet controllable move down lane.

I went with a pin down layout on this ball to increase motion in the mids to the back part of the lane. I expect this ball to get through the heads super easy and allow me to play further right on the lane even after the pattern has broken down a little bit.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
I was pleasantly surprised by the ball motion I had with the Path Rising.

Just as I suspected off my hand the ball was long and smooth. This allowed me to move further right on the pattern and really open up my angle into the pocket. Even though we are dealing with a lower performance ball, the Rising was plenty strong for me off the break point and getting into the pins.

I saw just as much hitting power with this ball as I did with other High Performance balls tested. The Path Rising will offer a couple of different options for many bowler styles. For the higher end bowler this ball will allow them to have a ball for when they dry out without sacrificing hitting power and letting them play the right part of the lane. For the beginner this series will offer great looks with unmatched performance at this price point.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I absolutely love my new ball I received from you guys. I received the Path Rising and it surpasses any other reactive ball I've used. The past few years I only used the Loaded Revolver from Brunswick during leagues, but this year I will be switching over. I thoroughly enjoy the true lines I get every time I throw the Path Rising. On top of that it turns heads when I'm at the lanes because not many people know the name Pyramid here. Now its time to get a spare ball and some shoes! Hopefully your name will continue to grow and I will be able to see your products in our pro shop here in Texas.

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:

I was extremely excited for a lower/mid performance ball from Pyramid. Something that I could move farther right on the lane and still have nice angle into the pocket.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:

I was a bit shocked when I first threw the Path Rising. This ball certainly performs above its performance level! I was amazed at how long this ball went and the backend reaction was unparalleled at this price level.

The Rising did allow me to move farther right than I normally can but the backend reaction is the same strong, controllable motion I've come to expect from Pyramid. This ball is perfect for me to go to once my Pyramid Path Origin Pearl starts to hook too much. I plan on drilling a few more of these with weaker drillings to give me even more options on dry lanes.

Don't let the price fool you, this is one heck of a ball! For a beginner looking for their first reactive ball, I wouldn't suggest anything other than the Pyramid Path Rising!

Path Rising Aqua/silver Pearl if you have always wanted to roll one of the Rising. Great ball for control and smooth reaction in the backend with out losing drive through the pins.

There is no way this is a $75 ball, it goes long and hooks, I absolutely love it. I would put this ball up head to head with my Hy Road from Storm.

Could not be happier this ball is worth every penny.

Pyramid is a winner on my list, service was outstanding.

About the Bowler

I am a beginner and this was my first ball. I bought it after seeing how cheap it was and reading great reviews about Pyramid balls and I have to say I love this ball. It looks great, hooks great, and is very easy to control I can honestly say I get very consistent results with this ball and I have greatly improved my game. Great ball especially for the price.

The Rising gets down the lane with ease on any pattern, and I don’t think that will change no matter what your style. I have thrown the Rising on some very lighter volume/burned patterns thus far and have seen all the length I needed. In addition it has a fast response down lane, but for the amount of friction it encounters is still very controllable. The continuation of the ball resembles the same results that Pyramid has produced all season. Overall, this release has allowed me to play deeper, as required on some lighter volume and broken down patterns, but at the same time creating more creating angle.
I recommend the Path Rising to anyone who is looking for a great price point with length and with more back end than other balls at this price point.

Love da ball. It rolls better than my Hy Road and Wrecker. Wow what a ball.

I am so stoked about the price, I can't believe it. I bought another already for myself and my girlfriend.

Hooks really good on the back and carries good.

210+ Average bowler in a league once a week. Had not bought a new ball in 5+ years and decided on the Pyramid Path Rising due to price point and lanes oil pattern being a medium house shot. I was pleasantly surprised at the length and backend of this very nicely priced bowling ball. First night out 710. More amazingly was I only left one 10 pin.

I strongly suggest this ball for a medium oil house. I am right handed, medium rev player. I had never heard of Pyramid but so far I am a believer.

About the Bowler

The Pyramid Path Rising...WOW! I think I'm on the path rising towards strikes with this ball. I went with the Triangle drilling on this ball, which gives me six different layouts on one ball. The pin up layout gave me the longest and hardest backend of the six layouts. The pin down was the weakest layout of the six, and the 8-9 layout allowed me to have my angles very direct at the pocket, as well as the 1-2 layout. The 10-11 layout has to be my favorite of the six, to where I'm able to play right, swing the ball right and have excellent continuation on the backend and through the pin deck that has my jaw dropping, and the 3-4 layout went the longest and was the most smoothest reaction of the six. Six drillings on one ball, all that are beneficial on medium-dry patterns, I'm definitely on the Path Rising to the top at my next tournament. If the Blue/Dark Blue color isn't for you, don't worry, you can get the same ball motions with the Black/Silver, Purple/Steel Blue, Black/Hot Pink, and Orange/Lime Green, whichever color you choose, I can guarantee you'll be on the Path Rising to success. Make sure to get one today.

WOW This ball like tony said defiantly gets through the heads and still has a nice angle in the back end, personally I liked the origin series so seeing that the cover had some of the origin cover input made me even more eager to throw a Rising. Great Ball For a Great Price!

This is my 1st pyramid ball.I bought the ball because I wanted a weaker ball and the price was good. I was surprised. This ball is much stronger than I expected and hits very hard . People ask me what ball I using because it hits so well. I use it when the lanes just start to break down and then I can usually finish my series without making another ball change.I polished and it works very well. My drilling person said that the coverstock materials are good quality and the stats on the ball are very close. He said the quality control on this ball is vert good. I'm happy with this ball for the 1st 2 months.

The new Pyramid Blue/Dark Blue rising is going to be the ball for me to go to when the lanes start to dry up during transition and on short for in tournaments, this ball gives you a great motion down lanes and a smooth continuous motion in the back end, great ball for a great price!.

About the Bowler

I bought this ball for my girlfriend based off the reviews and the price point. She's had it for over a month and her average has gone up 30 pins and is still climbing (140). I think what's impressive is how well this ball carries pins. I bought her a 12 lb ball with the out of box finish and if she's anywhere near the pocket they explode. I've also never seen a ball hit the middle pin and still just explode through all the pins. I'm so impressed with pyramid I'm looking to buy one of their higher performance balls. I also got my other teammate to get one.

This ball surprised the heck out of me. I liked the look and found it hard to give it a try given the price. This ball is now my go to ball when the land really break down or during late night red pin bowling or practice on weekends, when my bowling alley doesn't oil.

Really stores up the energy and a nice controlled angular movement on the backend. Very very pleased.

This is my first year back in about 12 years, so my Nu-line Xcelerator has seen better days. This ball is phenomenal on drier lanes. I'm able to release cleanly and let the ball do the work for me. When on the drier side, this ball hits like nothing I've ever thrown. My league lanes are wood (and old), so I can't wait to see what it can do on a synthetic surface. If this catches any oily pockets, however, don't expect it to fight through. The pearl finish won't bite through oil (much). Overall, I'm quite satisfied and am looking at a Pyramid that hooks more (for heavier oil conditions).

What can I say.....I added this to my 5 ball arsenal and lets just say, when the heads are burnt up or the lanes are breaking down. This ball still gets you to pocket. It's not the most aggressive, but it will clear the heads on almost all lane conditions.
