What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:

The Diva line has been a really solid group of balls for DV8. I was excited to see that they were using the Composite Flip Pearl coverstock on the Diva XOXO. I was hoping to see a Diva that really went long with a strong backend reaction.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:

DV8 really knocked it out of the park with the Diva XOXO. This ball goes as long as any DV8 ball I've thrown and really takes off on the backend!

This ball will be amazing for when the pattern pushes you inside and you need something with enough angle on the backend to carry the corners. Slow ball speeds will love this ball because it gets down the lane with ease. Crankers will be able to use this ball on long patterns even up to medium-heavy conditions.

The Diva XOXO is a needed addition to the DV8 line and pairs perfectly with the other Diva releases. Kiss (and hug) your competition GOODBYE!

Diva XOXO is my new ball for that oil pattern you need more ball. I have mine drilled pin up to give me length and a strong move in the backend.

As a Brunswick Staff Player I have been drilling several DV8 bowling balls and their performance really seems to suit my game very well. I am a med to low rev bowler with 16 deg of axis tilt and a rev rate of 240. I have a favorite dual layout drilling that I use on most of my equipment but because of the cover and the symmetric core of this ball I used a dual layout of 50x 3 3/4 x30.I drilled this ball for use in my league play which consist of a very poor 41ft house shot that carry is a premium. This ball has defeated this poor house shot,it transitions as well as any Brunswick product ball that I own and throw, it is so predictable with very good length a great hook to roll transition while creating the angle of entry that is required for my game. The hitting and carry of this ball may be the best I have in my arsenal. The Diva xoxo has created a lot of attention in my leagues and some fellow bowlers have quickly ordered their XOXO and are experiencing the same success which includes some women also. The people at Brunswick have assembled what I believe is the best team in the industry in terms of technology and marketing and have allowed bowlers like myself continue to improve as a bowler. I am in my 55th year of sanctioned bowling and am just as excited now about our sport as I was 50 years ago and I thank Brunswick for that. I believe they offer the best options for all bowlers of all levels.

The Diva XOXO is a great compliment to the Diva Line! I drilled mine 90x5.25x25. This ball has great length down lane and has aggressive backend motion. The XOXO is great for medium oil conditions. I have used the XOXO on a league pattern and on the Kegal pattern Broadway and have had a lot of success. The ball doesn’t jump off the friction and gets through the oil with plenty of hitting power. If you want to play in or out on the lane this ball provides you with all angles to the pocket. If you want to shoot some big scores get yours today you won’t be disappointed!

My name is Doug Cutler and I am DV8 Regional Staffer. I am left handed and I throw the ball around 15-16mph. For my first Diva XOXO I kept the surface the same as out as the box. The pin I put under my fingers and the CG is kicked a little to the left. The pin was 2-3". This is my favorite drilling and I have drilled my Diva Divine, the original Diva, and also the Diva Pearl. My favorite of all of the Diva's is the original Diva. I have drilled 3 of them and have won a lot money with it. I have used the Diva XOXO on 3 different patterns and I say that this ball is really smooth and has some really great back end reaction. The patterns I have used this ball on is the Kegel Boardwalk, PBA Cheetah, and a THS. This ball I would recommend on Medium to Light Oil patterns. On the Diva line the Diva XOXO fits between the Diva Divine and the Diva Pearl. The Diva XOXO is a great 1-2 with my DV8 Vandal. I start with my Vandal and when the Vandal starts to read to early I go to the XOXO and I can stay in the same spot but just change balls. I have used the XOXO on the Kegel Boardwalk the last 2 weeks I have averaged 745 for Series. I really like this ball and it is not just for girls, this balls color men will like and oh ya it hits really hard and it also has the Composite Cover stock. So get to your Local Pro Shop and purchase a Diva XOXO today!! You will not be disappointed. #dv8bowling, #dv8divaxoxo

COMMENTS

This ball is a middle of the road on the hook rating but with the composte flip cover this ball has a very strong backend motion and is very predictable. I really like this ball and it has quickly become a favorite house shot ball.

The Diva XOXO that I usd with this layout I was anxious to see how much of a difference it was between my Diva Pearl which is my Money ball . What I saw with the XOXO is more length by almost a foot compaired to the Pearl and 3-4 more downlane motion. with a stronger skid flip reaction.
The XOXO made me move 3 with my feet left and one left at my target and the ball continued to stay online the whole night. I am going to try and adjust the surface to 1500 or 2000 to get it to smooth out a bit with a more arc motion as I feel it will give me a more controllable ball motion.
If you like strong skid flip motion the Diva XOXO with the new Composite Flip Pearl cover stock will give you a stronger and more noticeable skid flip than other Pearl Covers. This is a ball that fits nicely between the Diva Pearl and the Diva Divine.

I just drilled the new ball by DV8 The Diva XOXO and used in league play and shot 697. The ball is predicable in that it strikes and keeps on striking. The ball gets thru the heads easily and a bowler can open up the lanes with this ball.

Axis Tilt - Estimated 8-12 Degrees
Current League Average: 238

Intended Use:
Using my go-to pin-up layout, I was looking to fill a hole in my bag - I currently don't have any symmetric pearls. Looking for something that would be good late in blocks where I need to get through chopped up heads, and have a sharper motion in the back.

Reaction:
Again, this layout has been perfect for me. This ball is very clean up front and skids effortlessly through friction in the front part of the lane. Then it unleashes it's energy in the back. Not overly angular, but strong and continuous once it gets to the back of the lane.

Overall:
I threw one game of practice OOB with this ball and absolutely hated it. It seemed bery over/under on a fresh house pattern. Pulled it out in league that night at the end of game 1 and threw a 15 bagger for 300. I don't think I've put it down since. I've used it on short, long, tight, hooking, everything.

The new Diva XOXO is great for bowlers looking for a similar ball motion they got out of the Diva pearl, but the Diva XOXO is stronger in the back end than the Diva Pearl and will be great for trying to play a tighter line down lane with a continuous back end motion.

I am a right-handed bowler and I have this ball drilled with the pin drilled out of the middle finger. This takes a lengthy pearl ball, and it makes it go even further. It has absolutely no trouble getting through the front of the lane. What makes this ball so great is that the new composite covers from the Brunswick/DV8 equipment will grip, recover, and drive through the pins on almost anything. As long as the lane has had time to dry out a bit, or there is a short oil pattern, there is no issue with pin carry. I would recommend anybody have one of these in their bag. It is incredibly reliable, and is exactly as advertised.

About the Bowler

This is the new diva XOXO. This is a great compliment to the diva line. I haven't thrown much of the other divas, but after throwing this one I can tell why they've been so popular! This ball has great length that gets through the lane really easy and reads the friction has amazing backend motion going into the pins! The name might be diva, but I can assure you it wont hit like diva! Really glad I got this ball as I throw it most places I go because its so versatile, and ive already won a tournament with it! So if you want to not just keep up with the competition, and want to beat them, I would definitely recommend this ball!

DV8 Has done it again rolling out the DIVA XOXO. This is the fourth Diva ball ans has a pearlized veneer that is finished from the factory with Royal Compound, giving it a different box finish than the other pearlized Diva. The changes in cover and box finish place the Diva XOXO between the Diva Pearl and Diva Divine in terms of its on-lane motion. A Must Have for all Bowlers
