The Pyramid HPX, Pyramid's First High Performance Shoe

I have been doing testing on this shoe for a few months now. The Pyramid HPX is by far the most comfortable high performance interchangeable shoe on the market. For me most of the high end shoes feel very clunky and they dont allow me the range of motion I need while bowling. The HPX is as comfortable as a
pair of running shoes or your favorite every day shoes.

The other thing I like about this design is that I can use any sole or heel I want. Over the years I have stock piled a good number of soles from shoes and any of those will work with the Pyramid HPX. From a purchasing point of view the HPX is aggressively priced and comes with the most popular soles and heels only on the shoe. From that point, bowlingball.com has it set up where you can add additional soles and heels that you will use at a discounted price. This allows you to get exactly what you need for the shoe instead of paying more and getting shoe accessories you will never use.

With the competitive market in high end shoes the Pyramid HPX should definitely be on your list to check out.

This review gonna be easy. Someone stole my TPU's so I figured why not save some green. These hpx are tpu's exactly. Didn't come with the two extra slide soles that I don't use anyway. added a couple of more of the ones that I do use and still saved $30. It was a no brainer. Really great value, and you order em just the way you like em.

The shoes are quite comfortable, although they don't seem to breathe the best. I ordered the shoes with the default soles and heels after ripping my Dexter shoes. BowlingBall.Com's products have been great cheaper comparisons to other brand name products so I have built trust in them which led me to trying these shoes.

The default sliding sole is not very slick and has almost worn down already, luckily I have a shoe sock and a leather slide sole from my old shoes.
The default heel on the sliding foot is stiff rubber and provides NO (and I mean no) slide when the heel touches. I was more used to my older heel having a bit of slide as well, so it was a dramatic change (and caused a slight knee injury) until I swapped my old sliding heel back in.

Overall the shoe is very comfortable and seems well made. I would have hoped for a bit different default soles (more slide on the front and definitely not as hard stop on the heel). I spoke to another bowler buying these and he was also not expecting the heel to brake as hard. Definitely a bit of a tricky adjustment for bowlers like myself who aren't good at picking up their heel in the slide.
