AMF Encore love the roll in the front easy to control in most oil patterns. Great ball for med-heavy oil the pearl cover saves a lot of energy for the backend.

Coverstock - F73 Pearl
Core - Mallet Symmetric
Finish - 1500 polish
RG - 2.54
Diff - .037
Ball Speed - 16-17 mph
Cranker

The Encore is the perfect compliment to the Unreal as the lanes transition during a set. The Mallet core and F73 pearl coverstock provide the Encore with a controlled look off the breakpoint. When compared to the Unreal the Encore provides more length and a cleaner look through the front of the lane. The Encore is ideal for bowlers looking for a medium to dry benchmark ball, or bowler's with slower ball speeds who need a ball to retain energy for the breakpoint.

Taking a proven core from numerous releases in the 2000s, AMF has created a mid performance pearl that is your go to ball during transition. Clean through the heads and unlike typical pearls, the Encore is nice and smooth on the backends. If you want more backend motion, then a Respect Pearl or Boost Pearl will do the trick. This ball will not wow you with a huge sweeping backend. When the Dream On or Dark Mattter or Black Ops are reading too early, I can take the Encore and migrate back right closer to the dry. Everyone has that ball that is meant for higher volume or a benchmark type reaction, but not everyone has something for when the lanes transition. This is a must have for transitioning lanes or 2nd shift burnt lanes. Well done AMF!

Truly an under-rated bowling ball. This ball is sure to be a classic in its own realm. I love the smooth read on the lanes followed by a strong turn back to the pocket. For a medium to dry lane ball, it doesn't over react and rolls smoothly through the pins. This ball is something I can trust on a sport shot and can use on a beat up house shot. When the crowd is lost, you can really hype up your game with this ball in game 3+!

About the Bowler

Drilling: Stack Label with pin over
Surface: Box
Description: The AMF Encore's performance is nothing short of consistent. With a smooth roll through out the lane the Encore will let you know exactly how the lanes are playing from the front to back. With a much smoother reaction than most pearl balls in my line up it fills a nice gap in my arsenal as the lanes break down and carry down starts to play a heavier roll. Also, the Encore has no lack of hitting power and really keeps the pins on the deck as it moves through the pocket. The Encore is certainly not a ball to be sleeping on and encourage players of all skill levels to give this one a go.
