The Storm Double Agent bowling ball rocks, it has a lot of hook. Hits the pocket like an animal. I wasn't sure if I wanted this ball because I didn't know what it could do. I'm so glad I got this ball. If you are looking for a ball that won't let you down believe me this ball is the one for you.

Received my Storm Double Agent on Wednesday night for the first night of the 2006-2007 winter season and the ball was unstoppable. I shot a 748 series right out of the box and did not have to adjust once all 3 games with a high game of 257. This ball ROCKS!
MEDIUM TO HEAVY OIL JUST PERFECT.

I just got this ball drilled today. Pin above the ring finger. Man, this thing is amazing. The Double Agent hits the pins like a monster. My home lanes manager just put down the Tournament of Champions oil pattern today, which is 50 feet of oil. The ball was easily hooking. With my old ball, I left a bunch of 10 pins and a lot of wash outs. With the Double Agent, I left only 2 10 pins out of the 6 games that I threw. Very powerful ball.About the Bowler Bowling Hand Right Handed League Average 193 Sport Shot Average 180 Ball Speed Medium Style Tweener

The Storm Double Agent is what I call a handy ball. The Storm Double Agent can do almost anything I want it to do. I can make it go long and control the reaction making it hook at the backend. I can stand around 35 and make it roll sooner. And when the ball hits the pocket, it hits like a truck. I highly suggest the Agent line and especially the Storm Double Agent. Great series.

I have heard a few people talk about the Double Agent not being as strong as they though it would be. I am around 220 average bowler and can swing it wide with a lot of revs or play straight up the boards. This ball works great with either line. Carry is excellent as well. For me if I play the big hook it is very angular. I am left handed and I will throw it around 20 out to 1 or 2 board and it looks like it is a lost ball and it just jumps right into the pocket and with that angle carry is almost guaranteed tons of messengers from straight up ten it will leave a few 7 pins for me. I used it in a PBA regional on the PBA shark pattern and ball did very well on the heavy oil.

The ball gave me my first 300 left handed.
It does need frequent deep cleaning and regular surface cleaning. I did a light resurface to rejuvenate the particles. I had it drilled for axis leverage which made it very forgiving in heavy oil. I want to buy another one drilled the same way just for peak performance.

I own the Storm Double Agent and it is the best ball I have ever used. I would never trade it in for any other ball in the world except for a heavier double agent.

If you like Storm and you can throw with a reasonably consistent delivery, then the Storm Double Agent bowling ball will hook you up. When I am having a good day, this balls hits like nothing I have ever had. When I am having a bad day, it is me, not the ball, that causes me grief. The ball does exactly what my delivery tells it to do. In light oil I can send from the right side 17 board, out to the 6 or 7 and it comes back hard, still turning, and does not quit. And I do not crank the ball - I'm a typical 3/4 axis release shooter. On oily lanes, I shoot the 12 to the 8 board and back in - same great results. And key to ANY good ball being good, is finding someone who actually knows how to drill the darn thing for how YOU throw it. I have had several great Storm balls that have been screwed up and did not work "as advertised" because of improper drilling for my game. Get a Storm Double Agent and be happy.

The back end hook on the Storm Double Agent bowling ball is "Immense" and strikes the pocket with power. Since my purchase I have bowled my first 300 game, and my average has climbed 20 pins. As oil gets into the ball (like any) the backend hook potential declines a little, so be sure to adjust.
