The Action Max is great. I got it before it came out and my first game with it was a 246 (and shot over 700 for series) on dry lanes. Imagine if they had some oil out there. This ball finds the pocket with ease. I have a lot of bowling balls, but the new Action Max is the real thing. Talk about hook, this is a must have ball. Great job Columbia 300, keep up the good work!

I have bowling balls that are much stronger. I bought it because I read some reviews that said it was awesome. One night in particular I was leaving 10 pins constantly. I changed lines to no avail. Then I brought out my Monster Bruiser, and this ball was far better than the Action Max (and yet it ranks lower than the Action Max). Go figure!!

I received the Columbia Action Max bowling ball as a replacement to a defective U turn. Had it drilled to my liking and the second time I rolled it I went shot a 665 series with a 268 in the third game. I can recommend this ball, as it surprised me. I think it will surprise you too.

I received the Columbia Action Max bowling ball for Christmas. Got it drilled to go long and have more backend reaction. Ball is amazing. I am a tweener/stroker and have gained approximately 20 pins on my league average. League runs 43 ft. of oil (Christmas tree pattern). I throw the ball down the 2nd arrow all night and might have to move 4-5 boards left as they start to open up. Great ball Columbia.

The Columbia Action Max bowling ball is great!! I've had it for 2 weeks now. I bowled in 2 league sessions. The first I shot a 717 and last night I shot a 823. This ball has opened up the lanes for me so much. Great ball for bowlers with high ball speed.

Just had The Max drilled 5x5 with the factory surface intact. Took it to league play on freshly medium oiled lanes. This ball is versatile and amazing for very deep inside players who wish to really open up the lanes. Anything near the pocket carries a strike. "Forced" a 742 series: the ball should have gone back in the bag in the second game...factory surface is too agressive for medium lane conditions.

This is probably my most favorite ball of all time. I am really sad to see it go. It's not the biggest hooking ball out there, but I feel that it is very consistant and finishes extremely well. If you have the chance to get your hands on one I recommend it!!!

I bought the Action Max on line after reading the reviews. I am a novice bowler, but decided to join a league this year using this ball. My unoffical average was 140 before this ball, but using the ball during practice I bowled 167, 201, 179. I still have to get used to the hooking action, but wow :) what a ball. Can't wait for the league to start.About the Bowler Bowling Hand Right Handed League Average 164 Ball Speed Medium

first bowling ball i ever bought about a year ago when i started bowling this thing has worked very well for me and continues to do so. Great ball for anyone and great looking too get one before there gone
