The Etonic Men's Classic Strike Right Handed bowling show was my first pair of bowling shoes and they improved my game tremendously over the house rentals. It had a very predictable slide with a good break on the heal.
The only problem is they were not very durable. After a year in league play, I had to purchase another pair because the sole my slide shoe tore away from the mid sole at the arch. This is because the parts are not stitched together, rather Etonic bonded then with some adhesive.
I now have upgraded to the Etonic ELS Flame shoes and they look a lot more durable then the classic strike.
Overall, if you are looking for a decent performing shoe so you don't have to rent from the alley, this is a good choice. If you are wanting a more competitive, longer lasting shoe, look for something else.

I can't say enough about these shoes. They have made a dramatic difference in my bowling experience. I highly recommend these shoes and haven't had any issues with construction, comfort, etc. Spend the money and get away from those nasty house shoes.
