Introducing the Momentum Swing from Columbia 300. This High Performance ball features a new shell (NE2MaXX) that is combined with a modification of our proven Resurgence core. We simply shaved off two edges giving this core an asymmetrical non mass bias look. This core and shell combo will give every league bowler the right combination of control and carry for today's competitive environment.

Positioned in between the Momentum and the Resurgence in terms of total hook and overall performance, the Momentum Swing is the perfect complement completing a three-ball arsenal.

The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

Pin length from axis point is 3 ½ inches and below fingers. Out of the box reaction with the Momentum Swing is smooth and even rolling which is what I drilled it for. I was looking for a ball that I could play the lanes a little straighter with in the beginning of a tournament block and I definitely found it.

I have mostly used this ball on the Scorpion pattern and it roll really well with the out of box surface on it even when the fronts start to go, I’m able to continue to use it and just move. I did mess around with the surface on it by applying Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish so I could use it on a house pattern. With the polish on the Momentum Swing, the ball had a whole new characteristic; it now became a long and strong backend ball. Overall I am very impressed with this ball and would say it is very versatile and can be used on a variety of conditions.

Not bad, hits pretty well. I am not sure that it is all that new of a reaction. It does work well on wet dry lanes, I do have some trouble on heavy oil with it. overall I would recommend but not to the point that i recommend other bowling balls.

Drillig: strong ark
This ball is very good. Out of the box I threw a 230 with it. It is a very arky ball. Sometimes it looks like it isn't going to get back but it always does. Much thanks to Buddies Pro Shop.

I'm an amateur bowler and have only been bowling for about 2 years, but of all the bowling balls that I've thrown I've found this ball to be very consistent to the pocket. It reads the mid-line very nicely and its overall hook is pretty amazing. I'm a tweener and it does all the work I need done for me. It has a smooth back-end to it and rolls through the pins really well. For the shots that are extremely dry you can just move to the left and throw it out and it'll still come back for you. It has a continual hook on the back-end and continues to hook through the pins. Of course if it gets to dry just slap on some polish and watch your ball instantly become a ball with a ton of back-end and drill the pocket all night long.

I drilled this ball pin up and flared out a smidge...this ball has a great midlane read and such a smooth controlled angular arc to the pocket and hits like monster. First day in practice with it bowled 13 games and averaged over 230. Then a couple of days later bowled 8 games of doubles with about 20 other people and nobody could touch me averaged over 240 easy with two 300 games within the last 4 games. great ball and i recommend it to anyone

About the Bowler
Bowling Hand    Right Handed

I recently drilled one for a customer. He was looking for a ball that he could swing a little instead of having to play straight with. So i recommend the Momentum Swing.

Drilled with the pin just right and below the ring finger with the cg stacked below. Ending weights were 1/2oz finger and 3/4oz positive side.

The reaction that he got was he able to move in a little and swing the ball(playing 12 to 7 on ths). It gave more midlane roll and a continuous motion on the backend. When we shined it gave him more length and a stronger backend reaction.
