Pin length from axis point is 4 ½ inches and below fingers. When the lanes are torched in the front this ball has no problem clearing the heads. Compared to the Cherry Vibe, the Emerald Vibe isn’t as sharp in the backend when it makes its turn. This ball is perfect for lanes with lots of friction in the front or late blocks in tournaments.

First off this ball looks great! Drilled for length and moderate backend, however the ball hooked a lot more than I expected. Once I found my mark the ball just crushed the pocket. Ridiculous backend power and carry for a mid priced ball. Shot a 230 first game with the ball. This was the first Hammer product I purchased and it won't be my last. GO GET THIS BALL!!!!

I am in love with this ball. I bought it to compliment my black widow venom. I actually like it more than my venom. I have it drilled pin over my ring finger and cg in the middle of my grip. The ball goes long and hits hard. I have a 192 avg. and my first night using this ball i shot 666 i love this ball.

I recently drilled the emerald vibe for a customer. He was looking for a ball that he could use on a dry conditions and when the heads dried up and you have carry down. The ball worked perfect we tried it out on our afternoon warn out shot and it worked great. The ball got down the lane and had very good back ends to it.He compared it to one of his other balls and the emerald vibe ran circles around it.

My PAP: 5 1/4" over by 3/4" up. 15-15.5 mph. Above average revs. I'd say I'm somewhere in between tweener and cranker.

Drilling: 5" pin to PAP, above my bridge.

OOB: 4000 + Polish: At first I was unsure about this ball. I expected something more like my Blue and Cherry Vibes. What I got was something totally different. Even with my Emerald drilled pin under my fingers, it really stores a lot of energy for the back part of the lane. Glides through the heads with total ease, very little midlane reaction, and has a pretty sharp move on the back. Overall hook potential is higher than both the Blue and Cherry as well. I'm able to comfortably throw this thing on THS, and it's probably 5 boards or so weaker than my Psycho. The hit and carry will impress you, especially for such an inexpensive ball. I've been a big fan of all the Vibes, and this is quickly becoming my favorite one. Looks really good going down the lane as well.

Great bang for your buck. The only shot I can't really see using this thing on is long and/or heavy oil. I think there are better choices for those types of conditions, but if you're really determined to play it I'm sure you could move far enough right.

Matt

I bought this ball about 2 months ago and I love it!! I throw a Track Robo Rule for heavy oil on most nights. When the lanes would dry up, my scores would drop. I bought this ball to get through the dry heads and not over react on the back end. It does everything that I want!! I usually use it the third game of the set. So far in the last 5 weeks, my low score was a 204 with this ball with 2 games in the 230's and 2 in the 260's. I will not hesitate to purchase another hammer in the future.

This review is on the newest addition to Hammer's Vibe line, the Emerald Vibe!

In my opinion, the Vibe line is the best that Hammer offers. This isn't meant to take away from the Widow Series or Raw Hammers, but the Vibes are unbelievably versatile.

I've drilled many of these for customers, and as a pro shop operator the Emerald Vibe is a dream. This ball can be anywhere from a light oil ball for when the lanes break down and you need something to clear the heads, or it can be great on longer patterns depending on how I drill it. I love that. I love when I'm able to use a layout and actually have the ball respond to it the way I want it to. The Emerald Vibe is a little less skid/snap than the Cherry Vibe, which is great if your THS has screaming backends, or if you're bowling a lot of sport conditions. If the Emerald Vibe went to high school, it would've been voted Most All-Around :)

For the price and proven performance of the Vibe Series, you can't go wrong with the Emerald Vibe!

I've had this ball for about a month now and at first I didn't know what to do with it. It hooked waaay too much! After a few games I decided "hey, i think it may be this...." stood at about 25, threw it out to the 5, and let me tell you...wow...it hit like a truck, destroying the pocket. So, I used it in league the next night. First game I went front 9, stone 9/X for a 279, then first four, 7/, off the sheet for a 277, then to finish it up I went the front 8, POCKET 7-10 missed both, then punched out for a 264...so my first series with this ball was an 820. So, I would absolutely recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a ball with hit.
