What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
Unfortunately do to issues on my own part I do not have the ball to show you photos of the layout. Trust me I will be drilling another one of these balls identically and I will get the images up as soon as I can.
I was very interested in what this ball would bring to my arsenal. One of the best balls on the market ever was the V2 Sanded and one of the best more recent balls was The One. This brought those two balls together. I wanted something for early on in the night or if the lanes were really oily that would allow me to stay in my comfort area on the lane and still get the reaction I like to see. I always think it is smart to try and find balls to fit in your bag that keep you in areas on the lane that you are comfortable playing in. It makes no sense to drill a ball that will cause you to have to do something or play in a part of the lane you don't like or maybe that you can not play.
What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
Exactly what I wanted. This was not a ball that I can throw all night or even every night for that matter. The Gamebreaker was extremely strong in the front part of the lane. Even from my limited time throwing the ball I could tell there would never be too much oil to use this ball on. As long as there is at least a medium amount of oil on the lane the Gamebreaker stays strong but clean through the front part of the lane.
In the middle part of the lane the Gamebreaker stays really strong and picks up so much roll due to the coverstock and surface finish and the core in the ball. As a fellow reviewer of mine said this is one of those balls that when you throw you feel like you can get it back from anywhere. I don't know if any of you have ever had one of those balls before, but every once in a while you get a ball that makes the right side of the lane seem like you own it. I don't care how hard I tried to throw the ball or what I did with my hand position it came back.
Even with how strong this ball is in the heads and the mid lane it stays strong in the back no matter what. I love throwing balls like this when I can because I never feel like I have to back off of the ball or do anything weird with my hand to keep it on line. This is a great feeling because you can make very strong, aggressive, quality shots every time and know you are going to get the ball where it needs to be at the pins.
For the price the Gamebreaker is exactly what they offer, the best of two of Ebonite's best selling balls brought into one great package.

Pin length from axis point is 4 ½ inches and below fingers. The Gamebreaker is very smooth out of the box with a nice controlled arc shape, but as with every ball that has had The One (GB 10.7) coverstock on it, with a little polish it becomes a different ball with a stronger move at the breakpoint. This is going to be the ball of 2008 and if you are considering an extremely versatile ball, this should be your first choice.

The ball is it. Smooth roll with amazing hit. It has a rice consistent finish. I have the factory polish with the pin about 1" above the bridge to keep it a tad more mellow and I love it. It never jumps and with the old V2 core. WOW!!! This ball is almost a cheater ball, if you tug it, it'll hold and if you let it out too far it will roll that extra little bit. I wish someone would have told me just how strong this ball was. I bought for a house shot and all I can use it as is my big oil ball. You can swing it or play up the pines. This would be a great ball for any level bowler.

You must be Jonathan Vavro who shot 1252 at Transit. Average 184.33 for 9... I\'ve seen this ball in action and it is wicked. Thinking about getting one for floods. I average 220+ on house shots using 2 Absolute Inferno\'s... I just polish for wood and sand for synthetics. They suck on floods though.

Before the 07-08 season I haven't bowled on a league in 16 years. I was a Straight bowler, I was throwing the Ebonite Tornado Warning when I started the season, which is a great ball for bowlers that don't throw a hook, and I talked to my pro shop and they told me the Gamebreaker was a great all around ball. The night I got it the other team that we played one of the members had a Gamebreaker and he bowled a 700 series. My average was only a 126, now after having it for 4 weeks now my average is around a 170 and hopefully be in the 200s by the start of the 08-09 season. If your are looking for a great starting ball with some great pin action this IS it, this ball is for you.

This ball is great. I was looking for something that had a little more hook in the middle off the ally. So I went up to my local pro shop and he recomended this ball and all that I could say after the first time I bowled with it was "wow". This ball has great mid lane hook, and if you go lite in the pocket it will still carry every time. Ebonite hit a home run with this ball...I'd recomend this ball to anyone that is looking for a ball that will hook up in the oil.

This is the first ball I've purchased in over 30 years.
Decided to go to fingertip style from my traditional style and chose this one to be my guinea pig I guess. Nice action when I throw it right. Still getting used to it, but the hook is nice and continuous. I would recommend this ball to anyone wanting a great first fingertip ball, and probably a great ball all around I would guess. It does absorb oil quite a bit, so the finish darkens quickly. But I wasn't too hot on the original purple/black finish anyway, so I like the darker look now. Hits like a ton of bricks. Nice follow through.

Got my Game Breaker last Thursday,(Righty) had it drilled with the pin under the ring finger, cg kicked out, and a weight hole off the thumb, I kept the factory finish on it. This ball is a striking machine. Even when I swung it out to the most extreme outside line the ball found its way back to the pocket. This is the best ball on the market right now. I hate to say it but this ball has brought EBONITE back. Sorry Widow Bite but this ball doesn't hit the pocket like a wet paper bag. I'm about to buy 2 more for the US OPEN.

This ball is similar to the V2 sanded but stronger. It has more mid lane than most high performance balls on the market. If your house is flooded this should be the first ball out of your bag.
