The No Mercy Beat'n features the same HART concept core found in the original No Mercy combined with the new Violent Hook Reactive coverstock to produce excellent all-purpose ball motion. Compared to the original No Mercy, the No Mercy Beat'n will provide more length, more aggressive backend reaction, and more total hook.
The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

We drilled our No Mercy Beat'N knowing that this was going to be a big hooking ball. Just based on the No Mercy we threw and knowing the changes made by Hammer we knew we would see a lot of movement.
As you can see from the image we used Hammer's reccomended layout. The pin is above the middle finger, approx. 5" from our PAP (5 1/8" over, 1/8" up) and we placed the HART right near the first and second flare rings in our track, about 1"-1 1/2" left of the thumb hole. We left the cover at box finish.
If we said that there was no way it would hook more than the No Mercy we were dead wrong. The Beat'N ran laps around the original No Mercy. We saw 5 boards more movement easily and the lanes were a little tighter than when we tested our No Mercy. We were able to get the No Mercy Beat'N back to pocket from any angle on the lane and every time it had more than enough hitting power.
If heavy oil is your problem or if you just like a ball that flat out hooks we would say there is no other choice but Hammer's No Mercy Beat'N.

I recently drilled a No Mercy Beat’n with a 4 ½ inch pin above my ring finger with the HART at 120 degrees and no balance hole. I used this ball at box finish. Out of the box this ball provided more length than its predecessor with a ton more backend motion. Not only does this ball provide more backend motion, it provides it from anywhere on the lane. The further I moved in the harder it turned and it even got the corners out when it did not look like it would.

This ball is awesome! It creates an entry angle that I have never seen before. I shot 220 the first game with it. Then I bowled with it for the first time in league and shot 297, 265, and 203. The 203 was my error in not moving soon enough and not enough. This ball comes back from everywhere and carries like crazy.

Not as good as the No Mercy but the Hammer No Mercy Beat'N has good pin action, and goes strong through the heads. Shot 280 with this ball in the first week I used it. Also a good ball for dry lanes.

The No Mercy Beat'n is very good ball but there is one thing that will kill the ball= dry lanes don't drill this ball with the hammer layout for the most aggressive & throw it on burnt lanes it will kill it. The only solution to the problem is resurfacing the whole ball.
On oily lanes the ball is great it goes thru the heads and hits hard on the backend. For soaked lanes this ball by far is the best.

I have been using the Hammer No Mercy Beat'N bowling ball for a few weeks now using the out of box finish. For me, this ball tends to have problems finishing on a normal house shot. It revs up so quick that unless you stay in oil, you won't finish the back end. I will put some polish on it for next week and hope that it helps me get the ball down the lane and save its energy for the back-end. I am buying a Game breaker this week. That ball looks awesome!

Now this is what I am talking about. I have averaged 155 all year and none of my arsenal was making me happy (of course it wasnt the bower haha). This ball is the man. First series after getting drilled was a 644 then a practice series today was of the hook over 700, playing the 2nd arrow down and in this ball is smooooooooooooth

I have had this ball for about a month now. I have gotten to practice with it for around 10 games. I had it drilled with the #1 layout and left it with the out of box finish to start with. First thing I realized was that I didn't throw with enough speed to keep it from over-reacting. I could stand as far left as possible, send it at the 10 pin, and it would roll out and go brooklin. I ended up putting 2 coats of polish on it and it held the line a lot better. I bowled back to back 180's, 186 & 182. I finished my last league with a 163 average. I can't wait to get on a new league and try this thing out. It complements my red hammer very well.

I LOVED my original No Mercy last year (jumped 151-187) so this year I figured since I need a new ball, not only to stick with Hammer, but get the No Mercy BEAT'N- it only made sense.
It's great out of the box, I'll admit that; but after a few games it becomes so erratic. I can't trust this ball for the life of me. The ball itself is alright, but for it's price, I'd rather go with something else. I got waaaaay more bang for my buck out of my Cherry Vibe.
And personally, I don't see any real hook out of it. It hooks like a White Dot compared to the Vibe for me.
