The Smokin' Inferno White Pin is a lower hook potential version of the Smokin Inferno. More mid-lane length and a smoother break point make the Smokin' Inferno White Pin a good match-up for medium to medium-dry lane conditions.

If you were one of the many bowlers who loved the original Smokin' Inferno but wanted a little more length with a stronger backend reaction the Smokin' Inferno White Pin is just what you've been looking for.

  • Out of the Box: With its High Gloss Polish finish the Smokin' Inferno White Pin will match up well on medium to medium-dry lane conditions.

  • When Dulled: The Smokin' Inferno White Pin's hooking action will increase and its arc will become more even, creating a better match-up for oily lane conditions and help blend the over/under reactions seen on wet/dry lane conditions.

The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

I drilled the Smokin Inferno White Pin with a 4 3/4 pin from my axis. I shifted the cg just under my ring finger and no hole was needed. First I tested it on a bowled on house condition and then again on a freshly applied house condition.
This ball gave me a lot of length on a 2nd shift house pattern and made a very strong move when it hit the backend. I would recommend this ball for drier conditions or 2nd squads.
On the fresh condition, I found that the ball had too much length, so I adjusted the surface with 2000 Abralon. The ball then rolled up more in the midlane and was very controllable. I think that adjusting the surface on this ball is the way to go for the fresher conditions.

Overall, I think this is a ball has a bit more length than the original and the coverstock is pretty versatile. Don't be afraid to take some of the shine off.

The Brunswick Smokin' Inferno White Pin - bowlingball.com Exclusive bowling ball is a nice rolling skid-flip ball intended to give a slight snap to the pocket at the right break point. When the Radical Inferno has started to come up high on the heads, switch to the Smokin Inferno White Pin and you won't need to change anything for the rest of the night.

The Brunswick Smokin' Inferno White Pin - bowlingball.com Exclusive bowling ball is a good ball. My first bowling ball purchase. Medium hook for low - med rev bowler. I dulled the surface slightly to get to finish on med-oily conditions (natural lanes). Been improving and and my average is now 172 after bowling for 2 months.

The Brunswick Smokin' Inferno White Pin - bowlingball.com Exclusive bowling ball is a great ball for the house shot or on burnt tournament shots.
As a down and in bowler, this ball is very clean through the heads to the breakpoint. And, while the breakpoint isn't too sharp with the drilling I have (pin on midline below bridge), the energy retention with this ball is bar none.
I wish Brunswick had produced one or two more balls with the Activator Advance coverstocks, because this one read very well.
I have seen others with a higher pin have hard snaps on the backend without getting too jumpy.
I find this ball slightly less agressive than the Radical. Compared to the Radical, this has a slightly less power in the backends, and doesn't hold up to carrydown as well as the Radical does. But, for house shots or burnt lanes, this is a terrific ball.

This ball has been a surprise for me. I have my Brunswick Smokin' Inferno white pin bowling ball drilled with the pin just above my ring finger (I am a right hand bowler) and the cg kicked out to the right. The ball goes long and then turns as soon as it gets to that backend. Perfect for the bowling alleys I bowl at, lanes are sharp on the backend with medium to oily lanes. Now once carrydown comes into play or the backend is not clean it's back to the bag for this ball. I am a 190 avg. bowler and got a quick out of box series of 830 in 4 games and another day got a high 264 game. Definitely one of my favorite balls.
