The Spit Fire was drilled pin up for a deep inside shot. Because of the huge weight block, the ball felt a little heavy. On medium oiled lanes the ball rev'ed up easily but began its turn early. At the slightest hint of dry boards, it TURNED Brooklyn and struck the rack at the 4 pin. After an adjustment in ball speed and deep inside line, it slamed the pocket repeatedly and created pin chaos. Took the ball to an oily house directly after the lanes had been dressed. YES! YES! YES! This was it! Swung the 20 board all morning long and allowed the ball do the rest. Shot a mere 749 without an effort. Oil was its natural environment. THIS BALL IS GROSSLY UNDER RATED AND A STEAL AT THE LISTED PRICE. Dry lanes?? Forget it. Not for this ball.

The Storm Spit Fire bowling ball is amazing, I shot a 300 my first game with it out of the box. I bought it last year with a 178 average, after a few weeks my average went up to a 214 and I ended up with a 227 average, this ball is great.

The Storm Spit Fire bowling ball is my favorite ball. Out of the box after only 3 games on it, I bowled my first 300 ever in league play, then repeated with another 300 six weeks later. Awesome through the midlane oil and great power off dry into the pocket. The ball is also very forgiving if you are off your mark a little. I have the ball drilled to go long, and I'm more of a "stroker" but can be a "tweaner" if lane conditions breakdown.

this ball is amazing it is definetly the perfect benchmark ball should always be the first thing out of the bag i got the basic drilling pin beside the ring finger and cg just in the right center of my palm hits better than anything i got i was surprised i could use this ball on some oily lanes but if the backends are to wet then its not the right ball i have never had such an area with a ball even when conditions are tough i can create area i am a mid rev bowler and throw it about 15-16 mph it can be used on about anything you put it on love it on the cheetah and the viper patterns scorpion it really performs well and the chameleon i usually use my attitude shift with shine but on the shark it is not enough throw the attitude shift

I bought this ball from my local pro shop and it is a 15lb ball. I have always used 16lb balls but my pro shop guy convinced me to try 15lb. I've had it about a year and thrown about 40-50 games on it. This ball goes really long for me and turns immediately left. I haven't found a line that seems to work for me consistantly with any area at all. The hard turn makes it difficult to predict on any pattern. It grips the backend really well but I'm not sure if it's because it's lighter or shined up or what. I would love to try a 16lb pro pin with a small flare and more even hook versus go long, turn left, pray.



But the SureFire is nice to have in case the oil pattern dictates this type of shot. I've actually had a little success on certain PBA Experience Sport patterns, but it doesn't hook enough on the real heavy oil.



I'm done buying bowling balls for awhile. Here is my lineup:



RotoGrip Cell - Hi Flare, Hooks like a monster - great house shot ball or med-heavy oil. 16lb

Columbia 300 Resurgence - Low Flare, Hooks like crazy, heavy oil shots only or it runs out. Otherwise it hits like a truck. 16lb

Columbia 300 Icon 2 - Med/Low Flare - Nice House Shot or med-light oil. 16lb

Storm SureFire - Low Flare - Goes Long, Turns Left - should have came with a turn signal. 15lb

Spare Ball - Plastic vis-a-ball 16lb

When my friend offered me this ball for $40, I jumped at the opportunity! The first time I threw it I knew I made a good decision, this ball comes in so hard, its ridiculous!

I bought the Storm Spit Fire bowling ball last week, and bowled 225, 256, 278. The lanes were medium oil house lanes, this ball took a U-TURN it hooks so much. This ball just flat out mashes the pins. One of the best balls I have ever used. The only thing that would change my mind is if the Power Torque is re-released. Ada-boy Storm.

The Storm Spit Fire bowling ball is GREAT! If you want a strong backend motion in heavy oil this is the ball for you. The Hammer Black Widow bowling ball doesn't have any thing on this ball. When the Spit Fire hits the pocket the pins explode.

Nothing but amazing!!! After breaking in the coverstock of my Storm Spit Fire bowling ball with a couple of practice sessions it reacts and pushes hard through the pins leaving nothing but dust. An absolute steal that this ball is priced at what it is. You want a high performance ball for around $100 bucks? This has got to be it; because this ball could be easily priced above $100 with the way it performs. Haven't had a hard hitting ball like this for a while. Go Storm!!!
