I have a Hammer Black Widow and have had trouble with it in heavy oil (unusually), and I have bought the Storm Jolt hoping to fix the problem and I hope it does.

This review is on the Storm Jolt Solid!

If you're looking for a benchmark ball for league play, or a smooth rolling, predictable ball for those PBA patterns, the Jolt Solid is a great choice! The Jolt line is great because they covered every area with just 3 balls, and at a great price. Most balls in the Jolt's price range use a watered down core, but the Jolt's use a multi-density 2 piece core. So you actually get more than what you pay for! The Jolt Particle is one of the best on heavier patterns, the Jolt Pearl is the ball for dry, and the Jolt Solid is a wonderful benchmark ball for medium oil! The Jolt Solid is such a predictable ball, and really responds well to how you throw it. This is a great quality for the first ball out of your bag on a given night because that makes it so much easier to make adjustments. Also, a ball like the Jolt Solid is great on PBA or Sport conditions because this ball won't get you into trouble! Pick up a Jolt Solid, you'll be glad you did!

As always... Bowl up a Storm!

I bought the jolt for Christmas and i was just looking for something TO smooth off the backend and this was the ball. I've seen a big improvement in my game after buying this ball my average has went up about 20 pins, I'm very impressed. I've also shot my first 300 with this ball. I would recommend this ball for anybody who wants a ball that is easy to control.

The Storm Jolt is a great ball. Drilled it pin up and it hooks only as much hand as I put in it. Tends to be a little angular but, come up the back of the ball and it rolls like a king. Great ball overall. Carry is pretty good.
