Based on our Perfect Scale™ ratings, may we also suggest the following items.
The Columbia 300 Wrath XP features the same core as its partner the Wrath with a stronger coverstock, the NEW STS XP™ (Stuff That Strikes - X-tra Power), designed to combat medium to heavy oil patterns for everyday bowlers. This coverstock/core combination gives bowlers ample hook in oil while maintaining controllability in the back half of the lane. The Wrath XP is a stunning three-color (Burgundy/Blue/Gold) ball with a 1500 sanded matte finish.
The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

My Wrath XP is 3.5in pin, 2.5 oz top weight, and drilled for a lefty. Wow, that's all I can say. It took about one game to get a track on it, but after that, it began to strike it up and has amazing hook in oil. This ball is a must have for a heavy oil player.

Drilled The XP 5x5 and maintained the factory finish. Tried it out at a medium oiled house and had to put it immediately back into the bag. Tried it at an oily house and it cruised down the lane without effort and screamed back to the pocket putting all ten into the pit. Ran 11 in a row. This ball works great in oil with a deep inside line. HITS VERY HARD!!! Ball speed and high revs are a perfect match. A must in every bag.

Hi, I am just your average 3 games a week bowler, last year I average 202, that was my first time finishing over 200, this year struggled a bit averaging around 195 after 54 games in , so I decided to try this Wrath XP, had it drilled to go a little deeper with the pin 3 inches to the right of finger, they had to drill a weight hole, first time ever with this pattern, well I am so impressed with this ball words are not good enough, I stand one dot left of center and throw deep to hit 4 or 5 board, my first game the first night 219, the next week 217 to start then 189 after flagging three ten pins, the 3 game start with the first 9 for 267, since then have bowled 712, 678, 715, 693 and a 708, I have only shot 700 four times in twenty years, now 3 times in 5 weeks, THIS BALL HITS LIKE A TRUCK AND EVEN WITH A LIGHT HIT THE ACTION IS GREAT, I am now 49 years old and bowling the best of my life, I look forward to Wednesday night bowling like a kid on christmas eve, THANK YOU I LOVE THIS BALL I NOW OWN THE WRATH SF as well , thank you columbia and thank you bowlingball.com.

This ball gets through the heads and scores well. Works very well on the PBA experience league that I bowl in. I have a friend, who is not too bright, and he bought a few of those special balls that is supposed to work on that type of pattern, i.e., Shark, Viper, etc. Well I tried them and the don't work, plus the Wrath scores and hits much better. He bought one of the Wrath balls as well and has had great success. He could have saved a fortune. Great ball, great price, highly recommend.

I have used the Columbia Wrath XP bowling ball for 2 months. The ball has a great finish and impacts the pins strongly. That makes for solid strike predictability. It also provides the big hook even on a heavily oiled lane.
