I received this ball as a part of a "Have a ball" league last year. At that point in my bowling career I was a more obsessed with the hooking reactive ball that I had recently purchased around the same time, and quickly put this one on the shelf. As my game developed, I soon realized the need for a "spare ball" which is often a plastic ball used to shoot straight for various spares. In my case, it is the 10 pin that's always the difficult spare to convert with a reactive ball.
As far as a basic plastic ball goes - you get what you expect. It goes nice and straight and does the job most people would purchase it for. I have a slight gripe that a small "hairline fracture" or crack, around the finger holes occurred a few months after bringing it out of retirement. My pro shop operator says that it can happen on any ball, so it may not be unique to this product line.
All in all, it's a good a spare ball as any other. The Captain Fireball also looks fairly cool. I will continue to use it after the small repair to help bolster my spare game.

It's a spare ball, so all I can rate is the color. It looks cool. I still need to learn how to aim it correctly at 10 pins. Upon buying this ball, I was unpleasantly surprised that you can hook a plastic ball. The ball keeps hooking when I throw at a 10 pin because I put too much rotaion on it. That's my fault, not the balls.

I know that this ball is plastic and it isn't supposed to be good but come on it is terrible. I purchesed this ball when I began to bowl a while back and I used it for 3 months. The ball chipped apart, it got knicked and dented. I dont loft the ball so i dont see why this occur. This ball is bad for any bowler.

I'm finally not afraid of the 10-pin. With this ball I can throw hard and straight without having to worry about playing any kind of a hook when shooting the 10-pin.

This ball is not only good looking and fun to bowl with but it gives you the confidence to bowl a good game. This ball is really good for up and coming bowlers that are sure to be great one day. I LOVE THIS BALL.
