Have you ever wanted to harness the power of a shooting star? Roto Grip has done it with the introduction of the RS-1. This new mid-price ball delivers unmatched performance in its class. The modified Rotary III core has been encapsulated to lower the RG as well as raising the differential. This translates into better read in the body of the lane along with stellar energy retention down the lane. The Sure Griptm pearl reactive shell on the Roto Star provides modest length and volatile backend reaction on those medium patterns.
The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

What to say about the Roto-Grip RS-1 bowling ball. I've had this for about 2 years now. Probably 200 games and this ball is still going strong. I have kept this ball factory condition and, if you have a Hammer No Mercy, this is the perfect 2nd ball. When the No Mercy is snapping too hard switch to the Roto-Grip RS-1. Move about 5-8 boards depending on your style and it has the same reaction. Yes, I do know what I'm talking about, I've carried a 210 average over many leagues the last few years.
