It doesn't hook. plastic is not supposed to. It looks cool and will function as a great spare ball for anyone. I would reccommend it to anyone who wishes to go straight at spares.

WOW. This is my first ball and so far so good. If you are just starting and looking for your own ball and sick of throwing those ratty house balls this is a great first ball if you do not want to throw a curve yet, my average with a house ball was 98, with this ball I bowled a 131, 138 and a 133. I think it is a wonderful starter ball. I would recommend to any bowler 1st starting to get in to the game.

I just got my Target Zone Red/Black/Gold bowling ball yesterday. It was a gift from my parents for my birthday. Used it last night for about 2 1/2 hrs. Felt great. Consistant with pick ups (unless user faults). Awesome ball, would recommend brand to anyone.

I just got this ball this past weekend and I am proud to say that it is my first ball!! The man at the Shop is a retired Professional Bowler and offered a lot of great advice and suggested I get this one. I was a little prideful at first since I've been bowling for over three years but with house balls but so far, it is very smooth and goes exactly where I want it to go; proving to be solid and consistant. I love it and can't wait until I see improvements in my score!

Does the purpose of spare shooting, just is alot lighter of color than I had expected. The color isnt that appealing, but who cares, it hits all my spares. I would recommend the light blue one though, that looks uh-maz-ing =)
