If you are missing spares due to too much hook, the Columbia Blue Dot bowling ball is the ball for you. It is the only spare ball that has a right to be in my bag. If you hit your mark, you can be sure that you'll hit your spare. There is no spare ball better than a Columbia Blue Dot.

I got a Columbia blue dot last week it is a very good spare ball but if you try to get a hook on it like I do. I would recommend the Columbia white dot - good job Columbia you always impress me.

I own the Columbia Blue Dot bowling ball, the one in the pearl color. I love the way it handles, how smooth it goes down the lane regardless of whether you throw it straight or with a curve, like I do. This ball is the best ball I've ever thrown.

I have to say I like my Columbia 300 Blue Dot, but I find it hard to write a review for a ball that does the same thing for everyone, that being to roll straight. I haven't tried any other spare balls, but I'm sure there are no differences.

I never thought I would write a review for a spare ball, but the Columbia 300 Blue Dot is great! I have mostly used Target Zones and Viz-a-balls, and they seemed to skid a lot. This ball seems to actually roll instead of skid, but still keeps a straight path. If you hit your mark you will be rewarded. The nice thing is that is does respond every so slightly to dry boards, so for right-handed shooting at the 10, there is a little hold instead of going into the channel if you overshoot it. A really solid spare ball that I highly recommend. No wonder this is the one spare ball that has so many reviews.

I've personally enjoy using the Columbia 300 Blue Dot bowling ball because its been a great spare ball compared to the white dot series. This ball is great when there is a need to spare the 7th and 10th pin without having the ball hooking.

Can't go wrong with the Columbia 300 Blue Dot bowling ball. For textbook spare pickups, pick up this classic ball, kill the wrist, throw over your target, and you've got a straight path to the offending pin or pins, the way it was meant to be.
I use the silver Blue Dot on all spares except double wood with rear sleepers where the extra drive from a hook ball would help.
