The Brunswick Thumb Saver really does save my thumb from getting blisters, and it gave me very smooth release as well. I got to have it on every time when I bowl, anyone have problem with their thumb should buy one of this. It really works.

I recently purchased the thumb saver because I was having issues with a callus on the side of my thumb that became irritating. I understand calluses are a part of bowling, but I went out searching for a solution to endure less irritation around the effected area.

It works fairly well. It's not 100% effective, as my thumb still gets a little sore after 3 games of bowling in the same area - but it helps. However, what I really like about the thumb saver is that it seems to ensure a much more clean and smooth release off the hand. This is now my primary reason for using it. I would recommend this product to anyone wishing to get the ball of their hand more cleaning, and perhaps provide a little more protection of irritated skin.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS PRODUCT! I developed a blister on the side of my thumb after I'd bowl a series of 6+ games and that wuld pop and screw me over. I bought this looking for some relief. God was I an idiot. The sewing on the saver made it to where it would not fit inside the thumb hole of my ball, I took EVERY ONE of my bowling balls to my pro shop so he could expand the thumb whole to compensate for the sewing issue. Once that was done, I was good to go...... So I thought....... 3 months later, the sewing started to come apart. I had to go fill ALL of my thumb holes and redrill them myself (to save money). If you are thinking about buying this product, be prepared to spend BOOKOO bucks to buy another after the one breaks, and to redrill your ball. P.S. The saver's protection was TERRIBLE. It helped me none what so ever.

This review is on the Brunswick Thumb Saver!

If you're having trouble with blisters or getting a clean release on your thumb, the Brunswick Thumb Saver is worth a try! It is very sturdy and won't tear up or wear out on you. Your thumb will release much easier from the ball and you won't have any skin irritation from the ball. I wouldn't recommend this to someone with a small hand as it might be too big. In my opinion it needs to fit fairly tight. But if your thumb is stopping you from having fun and bowling your best, give the Brunswick Thumb Saver a shot!

The Brunswick Thumb Saver Right Handed bowling device is great when you get used to it. My first ball, I released it onto the foul line, I'll admit it, there definitely was no friction. But kept at it and it worked out great - no more sore blisters or swollen thumb.
