The Break S75 Specs
Based on our Perfect Scale™ ratings, may we also suggest the following items.
The Break S75 adds an additional weapon to the Break arsenal. The Break S75 shell is more aggressive, featuring a new absorbent coverstock technology designed to move oil rapidly away from the surface, enhancing an already high friction coverstock.
The Break series asymmetric core was designed to create length and flip. This, combined with the more aggressive S75 shell, provides a ball path motion that reads the mid-lane earlier than the first two Breaks and provides a strong move at the breakpoint. 900 Global uses a numeric rating system to rate the aggressiveness of it's coverstocks.
(S10 least aggressive - S90 most aggressive)
The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
I really had no expectations when drilling this ball. We have just started carrying the 900 Global brand and we are doing tests on all the equipment in their line. I had heard that this one was one of their best performance balls to date.
Up to this point I have only thrown the Bounty which was great but I was hoping for more of a utility ball with this one. Something I could throw on a bunch of different types of conditions and maybe use a good way to read the lanes and the ball reaction.
This layout works really well for that purpose for me. I can hook the ball or go straighter down the lane with this layout.
What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
Man, so far I am very impressed with 900 Globals ball reaction. This ball is great, it does exactly what I wanted which was pretty much everything. I could use this ball early in the night when they were fresh and throughout the night as they broke down and transitioned it worked like a charm.
The ball was clean through the front part of the lane while still showing a very strong revving motion. This is what allowed me to play the lanes when they were still a little tight. As the ball transitioned it read the dry very clean and did not really get jumpy at all.
I got plenty of movement on the back end and the ball hit as hard as anything I've thrown recently. This was one of those balls that after just a a few shots I could tell I was going to like.

- Step 1. Identify your Bowling style. In order to accurately determine a drilling pattern and final ball surface, you must first identify your personal bowling characteristics; these three key factors must be determined.
- 1. Bowlers Ball Speed
- 2. Bowler Rev Rate
- 3. Bowlers Axis Angle of Rotation
- Chose the number below in each category that best describes your bowling style.
- Step 1:
- Ball Speed 1 = slower, 2 = average, 3 = faster
- Ball rev Rate (RMPs) 1 = cranker (18 or more), 2 = tweener (13-17), 3 = stroker (12 or less)
- Axis angle Rotation (side roll) select from one, two, or three
- Step 2: Total your numbers up from ball speed, rev rate, and axis rotation. Use that number to select your drilling pattern.
- Step 3: Layout must be based on your Positive Axis Point, illustrations are all based off a 5-1/2 over PAP.
- Step 3: Choose your lane condition.
- Step 4: Adjust surface.
