What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
As you have seen from our past reviews sometimes the balls just do not work out for us. The original Break Point and I did not match up well. Do not know why but it was not one of my favorite balls.

The pearl looks like a ball I would like. I went with a pretty standard layout so that I could get a good read on this ball. The pearlized S73 cover combined with a even stronger weight block from the original made me think this was going to be a good piece of equipment.

This layout usually lets me do a lot on the lane. I can generally play anywhere from up the outside to extremely deep and still get the recovery and power I need at the pins.

Lets see!

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
Perfect, perfect, perfect. Every once in a while the ball that you were maybe a little up int he air about comes through. I loved the way this ball rolled for me. It was a perfect mixture of control and power. After throwing this ball I actually think that if I would have taken the time and played with the coverstock on the Break Point I may have liked it more.

The Break Point Pearl got through the heads with ease and did not seem to be too effected by any early friction. It picked up a super strong roll in the mid-lane (reminded me of my Break S75) and continued that strong motion right through the back ends and straight through the pins.

This is the type of ball I love, it makes my job easy....Get a Break Point Pearl!

Wow! What can I say about this ball? Originally I bought it and a Bounty Hunter together with the intention of using the Break Point for my dryer lane condition and the Bounty Hunter for my wet lane condition ball. After using both, I actually use the Break Point as my 'go to' ball. The first time out with only 1 game of practice on it, I rolled a 264-224-289 for a 776 series in league the night I drilled it. I love this ball.

The BP Pearl is an actual Pearl ball that is more than the Pearl version of the solid. The BPP has a good amount of midlane roll making it a very versatile ball for me on medium conditions. I had a shorter pin on this one so nothing fancy on the drill, pin down 12 o'clock, no hole. Smooth rolling, hard hitting pearl. Easy read the break point due to the drilling and the midlane this ball provides. It does give you the length the solid cannot when the heads break down. I also tried this ball with a little "dead" 2000 Abralon and found it useful on sport condition. Highly polished a did get a good snap/arc backend reaction and it allowed me to get in and swing it to the dry. Here I found an awesome light mixing ball that gave me lots of room right and some tug left.

Great addition to the line and a solid compliment to the BP solid.

This review is on the 900 Global Break Point Pearl!

With the addition of a flip block to the proven Break Core and the S73 Pearl coverstock, this ball really turns the corner! The Break Point Pearl really gets through the heads nicely but doesn't go too long to ignore the midlane, which is something I always look for in a pearl ball. Once it hits the backend is when this ball really shines! With a strong but predictable move this ball is a winner! Thanks 900 Global for another great release!

The 900 Global Break Point Pearl fits well in the Break series. The Break Point gets thru the head with ease, read the mid-lane very good pick-up a good roll and made a strong movement when it hit the dry. It is defiantly a ball that will enable you to open up the back end part of the lane.

  • 2. Bowler Rev Rate
  • 3. Bowlers Axis Angle of Rotation
  • Chose the number below in each category that best describes your bowling style.
  • Step 1:
