The Bounty is the answer for bowlers looking for performance and control on heavily oiled lanes. The new Double Cross Asymmetric core has a medium-low R.G. which helps create a strong continuous backend ball motion.
The S77 coverstock from BASF provides the traction for today's slicker lane conditions. Polish the Bounty, and prepare to do battle on medium oil. If you don't like hook you might look elsewhere for your reward.
Finish: 1000 Grit Abralon

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
One of our shops had already drilled a few of these balls. They stated that everyone who threw it got a lot of hook. Not crazy u turn type of hook but strong overall hooking motion.
I figured the only other ball I had in my bag was the Virtual Gravity so I drilled this ball identical to that. This is one of my all time favorite drillings and I use it a lot, especially at the house where I bowl league.
It just seems to roll good there and produces just enough hook without getting me in trouble.
What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
I got what I thought I would get, a really strong ball motion that is predictable and controllable. The Bounty rolled as well as anything else in my bag. As you will see if you watch our video it hooked plenty but you
will notice it was a good type of hook.
I still got plenty of clearance through the heads even with the 1000 grit Abralon surface. In the mid lane it did read the friction a little harder then I normally like but it did not jump off of it. It maintained plenty of energy for a good solid backend reaction.
This ball hit as hard as anything I have. I am sure this would not be a good ball for anything less then medium conditions but if you know that going in then you will be set. For my first time with a 900 Global ball I would say it is worth the investment to try one of these balls. I look forward to more good balls from Texas.

What I Was Looking For In This Layout: This is the first 900 Global ball I've thrown. I decided to try an aggressive layout on this ball after hearing from co workers how aggressive it could be. I figured I might as well utilize the power this ball had to offer.
What I Ended Up With In This Ball Layout: Wow...This ball hooks. And I mean that in a good way. After throwing the first few shots with it, I was genuinely impressed. The ball motion was very strong and readability down lane was great.
I decided to see what this ball could do and how big of a motor it had inside. I moved as far left on the approach as I could get and threw it right. Honestly, it had no trouble whatsoever recovering back to the pocket. The one point that really stands out to me is how hard this ball hits! Some balls with duller surfaces tend to use so much energy down the lane that they lose power when it gets to the pins. Not this ball. The shape at the breakpoint is angular and strong. This ball has tremendous continuation through the pins.
If you have not had a chance to throw a 900 Global ball, I would highly recommend that you do. This company knows what they're doing and how to make a ball. This ball is a keeper for me and stays in my bag for the heavier oiled lane conditions. I'm looking forward to trying a few more pieces in their line. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for reaction on heavier oiled lane conditions, or if you want to try and shoot 300 to make some money!

I wasn't sure what to expect out of this bowling ball since I have never seen a 900 Global bowling ball in action before. I decided to drill this ball up aggressively with the pin 3 3/8" from my PAP, just off to the right of my ring finger. I positioned the Mass Bias about two inched right of my grip's centerline.
I must admit I was very impressed with this bowling ball. As of right now it is the go to bowling ball in my arsenal. It makes a very strong hook in the backend. This ball needs a little oil to get down the lane, but when it does it is well worth it.
I am giving this ball a 5.0 because it is now a crucial part of my arsenal and I highly recommend it.

- Step 1. Identify your Bowling style. In order to accurately determine a drilling pattern and final ball surface, you must first identify your personal bowling characteristics; these three key factors must be determined.
- 1. Bowlers Ball Speed
- 2. Bowler Rev Rate
- 3. Bowlers Axis Angle of Rotation
- Chose the number below in each category that best describes your bowling style.
- Step 1:
- Ball Speed 1 = slower, 2 = average, 3 = faster
- Ball rev Rate (RMPs) 1 = cranker (18 or more), 2 = tweener (13-17), 3 = stroker (12 or less)
- Axis angle Rotation (side roll) select from one, two, or three
- Step 2: Total your numbers up from ball speed, rev rate, and axis rotation. Use that number to select your drilling pattern.
- Step 3: Layout must be based on your Positive Axis Point, illustrations are all based off a 5-1/2 over PAP.
- Step 3: Choose your lane condition.
- Step 4: Adjust surface.
